Description:

This PA invites investigator-initiated grant applications for Mental Health Centers for Intervention Development and Applied Research (CIDAR). The primary goal of this initiative is to support the translation of basic and clinical research into innovations in clinical assessment and therapeutics. Applicants may request support for a period of up to five years, followed by a competitive renewal application for a second five-year period.!
Direct costs are limited to 1.5 million in any one year. This limit applies to new grants, their non-competitive continuations, and any subsequent competitive renewals. This PA uses the NIH specialized center (P50) award mechanism. Eligible organization include: Domestic institutions, for-profit organizations, non-profit organizations, public or private institutions, such as universities, colleges, hospitals, and laboratories, units of State and local government, eligible agencies of the Federal government.
